The release of the “Galaxy” Foamposite One back during the 2012 NBA All-Star weekend marked an unfortunate watershed moment, in that with its lines, hype and regrettable ancillary events, set the stage for the current state of taoday’s sneaker buying landscape.
In the spring of 2024, Nike is planning on bringing back the pandemonium inspiring sneaker.
At the early juncture, there are no available images but what we should see next spring is a shoe that is a faithful recreation of its 2021 forbear in that a Galaxy graphic will be spread across its Foamposite upper with the One Cent logo in its usual locations on the tongue and rear heel. The “Remoce Before FLight” tag is also expected to be included.
Underneath resides a glow-in-the-dark rubber outsole.
Just as in 2012, the release could take place during All-Star weekend.
